Nolan really wants someone to bond with. He is an active dog but is very teachable. He is currently in training and learning new things every day. His recall is improving, and he loves to trot alongside you for any and all adventures! He can be energetic and would love to be your hiking or running companion. He is very smart and athletic and might excel at agility training--I bet he'd pick up some pretty fancy tricks!
He likes all other dogs, but when outside with them he can sometimes be overwhelming with his energy and drive.
He recently went on a foster visit and did spectacularly! He was around many other dogs (even an unfixed male), as well as a cat and a small child. He did fabulously! During his visit, he was very relaxed and calm (much calmer than he is here at the shelter amongst all the other barking dogs).
