As you can tell by my picture, I’ve got the most mesmerizing golden eyes, don’t you think? I get along with all my fellow feline friends in the big cat room where I live with 7-8 other pals. I’m also litterbox trained, so I’ve got that covered!
I might be a little shy at first, but don’t worry! Once I start to feel safe and comfortable with you, my true, affectionate side shines through.
Now, let me share a fun fact about black cats that you might not know! Did you know we actually have our own special holiday? That’s right, August 17 is National Black Cat Appreciation Day! And here’s something even cooler—black cats like me have a unique genetic trait that helps us resist diseases better than other cats. Plus, we’re known to be extra laid-back and playful.
I could go on all day about why black cats are the best (we really are!), but I’ll leave it at this: I think I might be the perfect addition to your family. If I’ve convinced you, come meet me! You can visit Tuesday through Saturday, between 11 AM and 4 PM at the shelter.
