Pizza sweet, and gentle dog. In the shelter environment he sometimes retreats into his igloo, displaying a somewhat introverted nature. Pizza has a loving heart and a calm presence that makes him a delightful companion. He does very well on leash and likes to go on jogs/walks with volunteers! He is a respectful dude that really does want to please.
He does have a few quirks though; he has been known to mark his territory, this behavior is something that can be managed with consistent training and patience. We do not recommend a home with cats for Pizza since he does not want to coexist smoothly with any of the feline variety.
Pizza would thrive in a home where he can feel secure and loved, allowing his true, affectionate personality to shine through. We want Pizza to come out his shell and learn to have fun again! Come meet pizza and he is sure to win you over!
