Meet Dakota!
Dakota is a 1.5 year old Border Collie with a gentle spirit and a curious mind. He came to us from a home with many other dogs, and while he’s still a little shy around new people, his intelligence and sweet nature are already shining through.
Like many Border Collies, Dakota is very observant—he loves to keep an eye on what's happening around him and is eager to learn. He’s making progress on leash training and is still working on housetraining, but with his smarts, we expect he’ll catch on quickly in the right home.
Dakota has been introduced to cats at the shelter and shows mild curiosity without aggression—he's still figuring them out. With continued socialization and patience, he has great potential to be a wonderful companion.
Dakota would do best in a home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. With love, structure, and a bit of time, this bright young dog is sure to flourish.
Dakota is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and has been dewormed. He is ready for his new family!
