Groot is a 4-month-old male Border collie who came from a hoarding case we've been helping with for the past few months. He would make a wonderful family pet because he loves being around the staff here at the shelter. He does struggle with food insecurities and will guard his food, so he will need some work in that area---but, if you think about him surviving as a puppy in a pack of close to 50 feral d0gs, his worry about eating enough is warranted. He barks at the other dogs when they bark. He has normal puppy energy and is a very sweet loving boy who would make a great companion.
