Meet Max! Max has been winning hearts right and left after transferring to us from another shelter! This sweet boy greets everyone with enthusiasm and joy. He’s full of energy, but with the right outlet, we believe he’ll thrive. He has shown no signs of aggression toward other dogs, but his energy can be a bit much for some initially. We haven’t tested him with cats yet, but we’re working on it! He has learned sit and wait and picks up hand signals quickly. We are working on his leash manners and have found he does pull around other dogs but once he is away from the activity at the shelter he walks well. When we recently brought him into the shelter to hang out in the offices, he was high energy for about 20 minutes and then calmed right down and just chilled with staff for the afternoon!
