Meet Newt!
This Jack Russell mix was surrendered due to no fault of his own. His family is moving overseas for work and can't take him with them. He is good with both men and women, older kids, and select female dogs. He greets everyone with a big happy smile and wagging tail. He is house trained but not crate trained, although we think he certainly can learn! He can be possessive at mealtime and we have him on a slow feeder to help him learn to eat at a more moderate pace. He walks well on a leash, sometimes he gets a little excited and will pull but he doesn't try long. He was an indoor/outdoor dog in his previous home. He likes to play with toys, ride in the car, and he doesn't jump fences or dig under them!
Newt is a little on the chunky side right now and would be healthiest in the 40-50lb range so we have him on a diet. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Come meet him today!
