As a barn cat, I'm happiest with a job to do and a safe place to call home. Give me a cozy shelter, regular meals, and some patience, and I'll quietly settle into my routine. I may never be the cat curled up in your lap, but I'll be nearby, keeping watch and taking care of business in my own independent way.
I won't win you over overnight. Trust is something I earn slowly and give carefully. But for the right person, there's something special about watching a timid cat find her confidence and choose to stay close.
